The Municipal Infrastructure Plan Session took place on 15 February 2013, at the Council chambers of Ehlanzeni District Municipality. The MIP presentation was done by Mr Charles Magagule who explained the vision 2030 National Development Plan.

The Municipal Health Services gave two days training to the Mpumalanga Nursing College Students on
18-19 February 2013. The students were welcomed by the MMC: Municipal Health and Environmental Management Cllr Tiny Mabuza.

The District Energy Forum was held at Ehlanzeni District Municipality’s Disaster Management Centre on
7 February 2013, with the objective of establishing the District Energy Forum which will look at a holistic approach to new forms of energy.

The Local Economic Development, Tourism and Rural Development department  of Ehlanzeni district municipality was on time to visit the Lebombo Border Post for an awareness on tourism to travellers
before the festive season got underway.
